It's My Life What Ever I Wanna Do

Posted August 28, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

Singer/songwriter, Vennu Mallesh wants you to know that he's a man of mystery and fascinating contradiction.

Now, thanks to the help of a backing-track and serious auto-tuning, he's ready to unleash the swagger of "a very good bad boy" and "a true liar" upon the masses of the Internet.

There's bound to be many computer monitors covered in panties after being impulsively-thrown from the ladies watching this one.

Taylor Swift Has Trucks

Taylor Swift Has Trucks

It might just be a coincidence that these two trucks were next to each other and in this particular arrangement.

However, tours for country-ish pop songs about getting one's heart broken by guitar-strumming professional celebrity-bangers and interrupted on stage by douchey rappers need to be transported with an industrial-sized entourage.

Spinning Band In Stockholm

Posted August 27, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

When this band says they're taking their show to the road, they mean it literally.

There's no better way to attract much-needed attention to your jazzy band of Swedish hipsters than with giant, quirky, steampunkish flair.

I guess if they really wanted to pick up the tempo, they'd install a V8 engine to this thing.

Why hire a deejay to just play music at your next event when you can hire a deejay to play music AND sing along? This man is a genius.

Must Be A Rival Band

Must Be A Rival Band

It may seem like a contradiction that a chilly paper can be red hot, but this band has apparently managed to achieve just that.

Whoever this band really is, the Red Hot Chili Peppers had better watch out, because they're not even safe on the music section racks. (What little of them remains these days.)

If you've ever wondered what the staff here at G4 does on their free times, sometimes the answer is writing parody lyrics about Dungeons & Dragons to today's biggest pop songs. Our very own Courtney Kraft recently put her D&D inspired words to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" song (video above) and there's only one way to top this off create an awesome music video!

Of course, this all takes a lot of time and money, so check out her "Rolled This Way" Indiegogo campaign about how you can participate in the music video and help fund the production shoot. The deadline is September 17th, so hurry up!

Embarrassing Dad Digs Techno

Posted August 22, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

"All right! This hip new stuff you kids dig is a-okay by me.

Personally, I lost track of music after The Bay City Rollers tragically called it quits, but this computer music is funky enough for me to boogie down.

Oh, yeah. I feel a fever coming on and the cure requires me to shake my groove thing."

The true motivation for the advancement of robotic technology has been revealed!! They just want to strut down the street like John Travolta!

Deep Hole Set To Machine Gun Mode

Posted August 17, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

This little experiment proves the super-useful hypothesis that dropping rocks into deep pipe holes tends to make machine-gun-like noises that border on bad techno music.

So, with that little tidbit about rapid reverberations in our pockets, the world is our oyster. (Which, if dropped into a deep pipe hole, would also likely make cool noises.)
