It's funny how a three minute piece of Street Fighter based stop motion animation can be better than both of the multi-million dollar Street Fighter films combined.

The giant video game, the first thing I helped put together on the show.

Do you have any passions outside of working at G4?

None, I sleep. Actually, anything powered by an engine; cars, planes, boats.

EXCLUSIVE Video of Mission Icefly ARG

Are you following Mission Icefly, the latest Alternate Reality Game from 42 Entertainment? You should be. Why? Well, if the fact that they produced I Love Bees for Halo 2, the Year Zero game for Nine Inch Nails and last year’s über-popular Flynn Lives ARG for Tron Legacy isn’t enough to convince you, maybe the mystery surrounding this latest production will. We’ve even got an exclusive video you won’t find anywhere else!

The ARG launched a couple months back as Test Subjects Needed and The Human Preservation Proejct, where you could take an online “assessment test” but over the past few weeks has evolved to include something called Mission Icefly. They dropped tons of paper helicopters with glowing LED lights over Bonnaroo, there were sightings of it at E3 and most recently a real-world scavenger hunt was held, where winners found… well, it’s really cool, so you should watch the video to see it.

There have been lots of theories as to what The Human Preservation Project/Mission Icefly is about. We’ve heard rumors of everything from chewing gum, to a new movie to even Halo 4. 42 is being tight lipped about it (trust us, we point blank asked) which makes this all the more fun. Whatever this ARG turns out to be, 42 Entertainment has scored Terry “Locke” O’Quinn for this video, so in our minds, this has got to be something interesting. We can only imagine that something must be brewing for this at San Diego Comic-Con, but again, that’s just us theorizing, since the game's latest countdown clock is running until the Friday before Comic-Con. Check out the video and then tell us what you think Mission Icefly is about in the comments!

Anime Expo 2011 Video Game Cosplay Pics

We love it when people cosplay as our favorite video game characters from Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur V, BioShock 2, Street Fighter IV, Mass Effect 2, and Assassin's Creed. It's a special delight to see cosplayers take on the roles of the heroes and villains we've spent countless, button-mashing hours admiring or trying to defeat. That's why our Anime Expo 2011 video game cosplay pictures are extra special. Seeing them is like watching the best video game ever come to life!

Portal 2 Test Chamber Necklace

How awesome is this Portal 2 necklace made of test chamber warnings? The acrylic pendants can come all together for $45 or individually, if you have one favorite. You may have escaped Aperture Science but this is one way you can carry the memories around with you forever.

What do you do on AOTS

I’ve done a lot in my time on AOTS, everything from writing The Feed ticker, to producing Gems of the Internet with Sarah Lane and numerous segments since then. Nowadays, I mostly just produce Around the Net, Cinema Enema and our Friday show. I also talk about dragons sometimes.

What is your favorite moment from the show?

I can’t remember past the weeks ago so I’ll have to go with Cancer Cat. I love how cool he was.

Do you have any passions outside of working at G4?

I spend a lot of time playing video games, reading, playing amateur baseball and watching the Red Sox on my iPad when not at work.

Merrie SwainHometown: Detroit, MI
Position: Production Assistant
Favorite Season: Spring… anything but summer, really.  Summer is evil to gingers.  All that nasty sunlight everywhere, it’s disgusting.
Least Favorite Nickname: “Mer.”  How is shortening my already short name attractive at all?  Is it really that hard to pronounce two syllables?  Be more creative, people!

What do you do on AOTS?
A zillion tons of paperwork that never ends, EVER. I’m shocked that my desk stays decently organized with all the various stacks of paper that pile up.
What is your favorite moment from the show?

I’m a sucker for awkward situations and hilarious train wrecks. I think I peed a little when Gilbert Gottfried was interviewed.

Do you have any passions outside of working at G4?

I model occasionally for fantastic photographers; otherwise I’m very passionate about dive bars and napping.

Hangover 2: Screenwriter Craig Mazin Lists His Favorite Hangover Games

The Hangover Part 2 opens in theaters today, and I'm going to encourage you to just go out and see this right now. Don't read any reviews, because you know what? Haters gonna hate. I'm not sure why The New York Times is expecting Citizen Kane out of this sequel, but it's exactly what you expect from a followup to 2009's The Hangover sleeper hit. We went to screenwriter Crag Mazin, who not only sat down for a full interview, but also listed his five favorite games to play when you have a hangover. First up, Grand Theft Auto 4:

When you’re hung over and you’re just looking for some brainless fun, one of the most fun things to do…because when you’re hung over you just hate the world. You just regret everything and you just hate life. When the hangover is really bad, and you find yourself saying, "I wish I were dead" in between dry heaves, go ahead and load up a save where Niko has loads of weapons. Zip on body armor, find a great corner of a building or storage container to defend, then start killing people. When the cops come, unleash all of your self-loathing on them as well. When you finally can't take the amorality and head-pounding, rush out and get blown to shit by a hundred NOOSE guys. Oddly comforting. That’s fun. That’s a great way to just work through a miserable headache.

Keep reading for the rest of Craig's Hangover game picks, and a full interview where he talks about Billy Joel, Ed Helms' singing ability, more video games, a possible Hangover 3, Rocketman, Game Boys, and more.
