The Dark Knight Rises: 7 New Photos
"Yeah, I like to break into empty safes. I suppose it's kind of 'my thing.' Don't judge."

While The Dark Knight Rises seems tailor-made to dominate the box-office on July 20, it will also dominate Entertainment Weekly's summer movie preview issue this week, as the film not only takes the cover, but also releases seven new photos from the upcoming return to director, Christopher Nolan's pulse-pounding version of Gotham City.

When Ghost Rider Goes Camping

While he obviously has no need for a campfire, he will sit around with his demonic buddies and tell scary stories about motorcycle breakdowns in the middle of a rain storm.

Darth Vader's Favorite Side Of The Moon

Sure, Pink Floyd's prog-rock avante-garde approach didn't exactly agree with Vader's more straight hard rock tastes, but he figured that he should take his own advice and give himself to the Dark Side...of the Moon.

X-Men: First Class Sequel Delayed For Catching Fire

The upcoming sequel to last year's blockbuster, X-Men: First Class will apparently take a temporary backseat to the upcoming sequel to current blockbuster, The Hunger Games. With star, Jennifer Lawrence currently finding herself as one of the most in-demand actresses, the move should resolve tensions between 20th Century Fox and Lionsgate over which franchise mega sequel she would tackle first.

Lawrence will first shoot the second of The Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire, for Lionsgate from August to September, which will allow her to subsequently reprise her role as the seductive provocative protean mutant, Mystique when the First Class sequel (originally slated to shoot this summer,) shoots in the now-revised time of January. (Possibly slating the film for as late as summer 2014.)

This comes as good news to fans of both franchises and serves as the best solution, second, perhaps to having Jennifer Lawrence cloned by scientists. -- A plan that frankly, should still remain in play, because...well, look at her.

Mad X-Men

Mad X-Men

These guys have genes that have evolved far from that "other Mad show." However, much like that show, they not only stand around smoking cigarettes, telling themselves how awesome they are, but they also find themselves gawking after a voluptuous redhead. (Who can read your mind, and if the mood strikes her, destroy the universe.)

Clark Kent Makes A Fashion Mistake

It seems that the whole "no underwear" thing for Superman in the upcoming Superman: Man of Steel with Henry Cavill and with the New 52 comic redesign has an unfortunate flip side for Clark Kent.

Captain America 2 Set For 2014

Mark your long-term calendars! The sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger now has a release date. April 4, 2014 will be when Chris Evans dons the red, white, and blue combat costume for another solo outing as Marvel's juiced patriotic powerhouse.

While Cap is set to take a major part in The Avengers next month, behind-the-scenes, the search to find a director to his solo sequel have been narrowed-down to a few candidates.

The official press release announcing the date also made some comments on the film's plot that manage to be both vague and provocative.
