Well, look who decided to show up on Attack on the Blog!: This video.

It seems that sarcasm loses a bit of its sting when the pesky bug of overuse bites. Now, yet another Hollywood cliché is put under the microscope with a cleverly-edited supercut, this time by Slacktory.

From this point on, you'll find yourself being super-critical to the point of misery regarding scenes where characters unexpectedly arrive.

James Bond Skyfall: New Theatrical Trailer

A brand new full theatrical trailer for Skyfall, James Bond's next action-packed adventure has hit.

What separates this from the previous teasers we have gotten, is that for the first time, major details about the film's plot are finally revealed and we get a better look at the film's other characters like Naomie Harris' Eve (who apparently sucks at shooting), Ben Whishaw's new younger, nerdier version of gadget man, Q, and notably, the villainous bleach-blonde, Silva played by Javier Bardem.

It seems that recent news stories about massive governmental security leaks has provided the backdrop for this new epic Bond adventure as James has to contend with enjoying a fake death and another villain in the ever-changing world of instant widespread information.

Grab your handy-dandy palm-print-reader-pistol and check out the trailer below.

Batman Merchandise Reaches A New Level

On the package, there's a quote from Batman that says:

"It's not what I produce, but who I imagine I'm with while producing it that defines me."

I think "Creamies" is just the Walmart generic equivalent of the product. And "Meadow Gold," well...you just knew that Booster Gold had to get in on the act, too.

The Hobbit Now Confirmed To Be A Trilogy

It appears that the rumors of The Hobbit films transforming from a two-parter to a trilogy are indeed TRUE.

Director, Peter Jackson has officially confirmed that he and his creative partners, Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens will indeed move forward in adapting the Hobbit films into a proper trilogy meant to cover virtually every aspect of the mythology from the events of the small, single-volume novel by J.R.R. Tolkien. The Hobbit films will therefore spill into 2014.

Has the great Peter Jackson made the mistake of stretching this epic story too thin? Or, does he have some major tricks up his sleeves that will leave fans satisfied when all is said and done?

Stanley Kubrick's seminal 1968 sci-fi epic, 2001: A Space Odyssey was actually a rather mellow-paced film that, besides carrying a metaphysical message, also indulged in the type of space special-effects that were more conducive for a laid-back audience that appreciates the sublime nature of what they are seeing. (In other word, stoners.)

However, if such a film were to hit in today's film industry, it would probably have to amp-up the intensity. This recut trailer by Film School Rejects pretty much hits the flashy-edited, uber-dramatic nail on the head for what it would have looked like today.

James Bond Skyfall: New Poster, Trailer Hits Monday

A new teaser for the upcoming return of Daniel Craig's darker, grittier, hornier 007, Skyfall has debuted with Olympic coverage on TV.

While devoid of word association games like the first teaser, it does give us a little bit more insight in some of the action (both mortal and carnal) that's in store for James this time around.

Skyfall leaps down a tall building to theaters on November 9. Watch below to see the world explode, 007 spreading his Secret Agent Syphilis, and the coolest way to board a passenger train.

The Black Knight Rises

Moving on to bigger things than blocking forests, this sword-swinging sentinel has now declared himself to be Camelot's reckoning.

Go ahead, cut off his limbs if you must. He's had worse.
