First and foremost, if you're going to jump in front of cars for cash, you may not want to be selling your alleged injuries before you collide with the car.
Secondly, you may want to have enough self-awareness to realize that when jumping towards the car is necessary to connect with it, that laying there and committing to the bit is probably not helping your case.
Get up, move on, and hopefully the next unsuspecting commuter can give you the debilitatingly-profitable injury that you're seeking.
Parents try to surprise their kids with a trip to Disney World except they made them believe they were going to someplace better. What the parents were supposed to do is make their kids believe they were going to someplace worse, like:

Warning: Bad language used.
While on some days, dangling outside the door may be a welcome alternative to sharing the car with some of the freaks who show up on the subway, I think it's safe to say that this guy has no clue that with one wrong move, they'll be scraping him off a wall.
It appears that the oncoming car in the background interpreted a stop sign to mean "you're special, keep going." The result, was a lot of carnage and the end of a shiny blue motorcycle.
The authenticity here is kind of suspect, but if the crash was fake, then it's a pretty epic fake.
You know you're a compelling storyteller when you're at the scene of a serious car accident where a motorist flipped over and hit a pole while still trapped in the vehicle...and you have people behind you desperately struggling to not crack up.
