Ant-Man Gets Release Date

Marvel Studios has made a few announcements today about its upcoming film projects, most notably with a release date for the mysterious Ant-Man.

November 6, 2015 will be the date when protean professor, Hank Pym makes his "small" debut on the big-screen in Marvel's movieverse under the vision of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Hot Fuzz director, Edgar Wright.

Additionally, the future of some other solo Avengers will be in three dimensions when Iron Man 3 (May 3, 2013) and Thor: The Dark World (November 8, 2013) have been announced to hit theaters in 3D.

Agent Coulson To Return On S.H.I.E.L.D. TV Show

It seems that even death at the hands of Loki could not stop the fan favorite phenomena that is Agent Coulson.

At New York Comic Con over the weekend, Coulson himself, Clark Gregg would surprise fans on stage at the Marvel panel in a celebration of his character that at times was even emotional. However, his presence there wasn't just for the benefit of the fan's wistful longings.

Marvel's head of television, Jeph Loeb would also take the stage to drop a bombshell bit of news: Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Coulson in the upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. TV series.

What will the presence of the smooth, badass, albeit presumably-dead agent mean for the show?

The Dark Knight Uses Apple Maps

Baxter
Posted October 12, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

Despite having nearly limitless technological resources at his disposal, Batman still wanted to give his new iPhone 5 a spin and see if all the scrutiny over Apple Maps was just hype.

Well, unfortunately for him, the Batpod, the citizens of Gotham, and "Ray-chellll!!!," things didn't turn out too well.

He would eventually catch up with The Joker...by way of a detour through a sewer, a couple Chinese restaurants, and Gracie Mansion.

Spider-Man Sequel Finds Its Mary Jane?

It appears that the upcoming sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man could be graced with the Wall-Crawler's better known love interest (and eventual wife,) Mary Jane Watson.

Previously played by Kirsten Dunst, the role of Peter Parker's red-headed bombshell is now reportedly being offered to The Descendants star, Shailene Woodley for what would be the 20 year-old actress' first appearance in a big-budget mega-project.

The live-action return of Mary Jane could possibly complicate the relationship between Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker and Emma Stone's Gwen Stacy, presenting the possibility of an interesting love triangle.

However, MJ isn't the only rumored addition of signature Spider-Man favorites as more will apparently be thrust into the mix.

Battle Of The Na-Na-Na-Na's

This battle between famous non-lyrics was destined to happen sooner or later.

Now, The Dark Knight will battle The Knighted Beatle in an epic showdown to determine whether it's cooler to take a sad song and make it better with a piano or a Batmobile.

Interestingly enough, this is one rare instance where Batman is not richer than his opponent.

The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira Pictures

You'll have plenty of chances to see Danai Gurira slice and dice zombies on The Walking Dead this season, but how often will you get to see her laugh, joke and generally have a good time (while not covered in blood and toting around the undead, we mean)? Not many. So, take this unique opportunity, skim through our Danai Gurira photos, and when things get a little too scary for you on The Walking Dead, let the memory of the aforementioned images whisk you away to your internal happy place.

Avenger Pugs

Baxter

"Because if we can't protect the furniture, you can be damned well sure we'll hump it."

This miniature masked version of Earth's Mightiest Heroes may not have the skills, money, intelligence, or even general hygiene of the actual team, but what they do have is the ability to lick themselves.

That's got to count for something when those invading Skrull or Cheetara alien bastards from Dimension X...or wherever they were try to wreck our planet.

Spider-Man Is Bitter

Having to sit back and watch how far the Avengers movies have come both creatively and financially, Spider-Man is growing increasingly jealous of being left out of mix due to studio politics.

It's especially going to hit home when Ant-Man is released and he's forced to watch a third-tier Marvel insect-themed hero grab the spotlight and work his way into the mega-team that everyone loves.

Bane's New Business

Just because a guy broke your back one time during a difficult period in his life, doesn't mean he isn't able to repair the damage he's done.

Not satisfied with his prison DIY "hanging by a rope" method of chiropractic therapy, Batman has found himself in a pickle about whether it's worth the risk to save money and take advantage of this free treatment.
