This piece of concept art would have represented a more laid-back version of the Batman movie mythos, in which Jason Schwartzman would play every character from Batman, Robin, the Joker, the Riddler, etc. with Bill Murray's tripped-out version of Alfred being the lone exception.
It's too bad we won't get to see Batman beating criminals to a pulp in slow motion to the sounds David Bowie, T. Rex, and Mott the Hoople. I guess we'll just have to settle for Christopher Nolan's stuff in The Dark Knight Rises this summer.

The world just collectively got a lot manlier, as the full debut trailer for The Expendables 2 hit with an explosive force of concentrated testosterone, which may cause the spread of unwanted body hair and the possible growth of an Adam's apple on women. (So be cautious when bringing dates, guys.)
While today's wide release of The Avengers will be bringing together a surreal collection of comic book superheroes to the big screen, this film may very well be the ultimate surreal collection of ass-kicking icons, ever.
Also noteworthy, is the addition of Thor's younger brother, Liam Hemsworth, who put aside watching "Bread Boy" make-out with his girlfriend in The Hunger Games to pick up a sniper rifle and run with the likes of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Lundgren, Couture, Li, Statham, and NORRIS to take on a plutonium-smuggling, villainous Jean-Claude Van Damme.
