The Avengers...With 80's Movie Heroes

This version of the soon-to-be billion dollar Marvel mega-team may not have "a Hulk," but they do have "a Sloth" with a Superman shirt who likes to wolf-down Baby Ruths. -- That's got to count for something.

Additionally, while their version of Thor, little Sara Anderson from Adventures in Babysitting, might be accurately referred to as a "puny God," she more than makes up for it in Scrappy-Doo-like spunk.

Awesome "Super-Man" Figures

Posted May 11, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

This Kryptonian refugee was bitten by a radioactive spider, only to be endowed with the ability to be "Mighty Morphin'" by a giant holographic face, only to end up being cloned...four times!

Batman Does The Weather

Posted May 10, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

The Dark Knight might be set to "rise" in July, but according to Batman, so are the temperatures in Washington, D.C.

"Thursday's weather will be breezy and things will be flying in the wind, like bullets to parents as the criminal scum escape into the dead of the night!

On Saturday, things will be warming up. While these prediction may not always be accurate, I told the Sun to SWEAR TO ME!!!"

The Ovengers

The Ovengers

These heroic ovens come "pre-assembled" and, while they have to work through their their various differences, they always come together to save the world from Loki, Ultron, Thanos, and the occasional alliance of Hot Pockets and Frozen Pizzas.

The Avengers: The Birth Of Black Widow

This classical painting depicts the moment that the red-haired Russian goddess would emerge from the seas in the form of a full-grown emasculating ass-beating assassin.

She'd be immediately ready to tackle The Avengers' deadly enemies with various forms of martial arts which give her an excuse to arch her back. Plus, she has her wrist...shooter...things.

An Avengers-riffic Cinco de Mayo

With one of the biggest movies ever opening this Cinco de Mayo weekend, it might be the perfect backdrop for the evening when people "assemble" and get s**t-faced to celebrate the glorious day when Pancho Villa single-handedly drove all the snakes from Ireland.

Wes Anderson's Batman

Posted May 4, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

Wes Anderson's Batman

This piece of concept art would have represented a more laid-back version of the Batman movie mythos, in which Jason Schwartzman would play every character from Batman, Robin, the Joker, the Riddler, etc. with Bill Murray's tripped-out version of Alfred being the lone exception.

It's too bad we won't get to see Batman beating criminals to a pulp in slow motion to the sounds David Bowie, T. Rex, and Mott the Hoople. I guess we'll just have to settle for Christopher Nolan's stuff in The Dark Knight Rises this summer.

The Expendables 2 Trailer Debuts: Stuff Explodes

The world just collectively got a lot manlier, as the full debut trailer for The Expendables 2 hit with an explosive force of concentrated testosterone, which may cause the spread of unwanted body hair and the possible growth of an Adam's apple on women. (So be cautious when bringing dates, guys.)

While today's wide release of The Avengers will be bringing together a surreal collection of comic book superheroes to the big screen, this film may very well be the ultimate surreal collection of ass-kicking icons, ever.

Also noteworthy, is the addition of Thor's younger brother, Liam Hemsworth, who put aside watching "Bread Boy" make-out with his girlfriend in The Hunger Games to pick up a sniper rifle and run with the likes of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, Lundgren, Couture, Li, Statham, and NORRIS to take on a plutonium-smuggling, villainous Jean-Claude Van Damme.

You know what? Enough talk. Talking is for people who don't know how to shoot stuff. Just check it out below!
