Sin City 2 Gets Release Date, Details Revealed

The long-anticipated sequel to 2005's conceptual, groundbreaking comic book adaptation, Sin City is finally confirmed to go.

Not only has it been announced that director, Robert Rodriguez is returning to co-direct the big-screen continuation of the iconic graphic novel series with creator, Frank Miller, but now, the film has a release date: October 4, 2013.

The film, as had been speculated for quite some time, will be called Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, based on the second series/graphic novel which focused on characters, Dwight (played by Clive Owen) and his love, deadly prostitute, Gail (played by Rosario Dawson.)

Showdown Of Dark Knights

Batman: "How was your Mother's Day, Ani? Oh, right, she got kidnapped, racked, and killed by Sand-People because you abandoned her!"

Vader: "Well, Bruce, at least my Mom got killed defending her home instead of stupidly walking into a dark alley wearing expensive pearls, almost asking to be robbed and killed."

Batman: "At least I didn't choke my wife to death like some intergalactic O.J."

Vader: "Speaking of domestic situations, how's that cohabitation with the 10 year-old boy, going?"

The Amazing Spider-Man: 4 Minute Action-Packed Preview

The upcoming reboot of the wall-crawling franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man has released a 4 minute preview trailer, showcasing much of the film's intense action sequences.

While we've known for some time that director, Marc Webb's big-budget blockbuster debut would be using Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker/Spider-Man in a more pathos-centric way, focusing on the mystery of Peter's parents and his relationship with friend/nemesis Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, this preview drives home the point even more.

Will this film manage to swing from outside the shadow made from the still-recent Spider-Man films by Sam Raimi? We will certainly find out when it clings to theaters on July 3.

In the meantime, check out the new preview below!

Spider-Man Left The Avengers Hanging

Sure, in New York City, a random mugger armed with "small knives" is destined to be bound and hanging from a web on a streetlight. However, when a rogue Norse God and powerful alien invaders riding giant dragons stroll into town, Spidey mysteriously comes down with "the flu."
