Damn you, Norrin Radd!

After breaking free from the service of the mighty Galactus, the Silver Surfer has been kind of bored. So, don't be so quick to clumsily stand on top of that table and pretend you're on Rocky Road Idol, because that's how he gets you.

FanimeCon 2012 Cosplay Pics

Posted May 26, 2012 - By Eugene Morton

Looking around the show floor of FanimeCon 2012, it's easy to forget that it's held in San Jose, because with all of The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises themed costumes, it feels like it could just as easily be Avengers Tower or Gotham City. Then again, it could double for MIB headquarters from Men In Black 3, Oscorp from The Amazing Spider-Man, the spaceship Prometheus, or a million other Sci-Fi, comic book, and anime locales.

What we're saying is, FanimeCon is mind-blowing and what's more, AOTB's exclusive FanimeCon 2012 cosplay pictures will sweep you away to a land of nerd fantasy! So, please enjoy them and spread the word to your geek compatriots!

Thor 2 Gets A Bond Villain

Posted May 25, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

Thor 2 Gets A Bond Villain

Things could get very interesting in Asgard, as Thor 2 has found its villain. (At least, one of them, anyway.)

Mads Mikkelsen, best known for playing the blood-crying, testicle-torturing villain, Le Chiffre in Casino Royale has joined the cast of the Norse God's solo sequel for the role of a yet-to-be-revealed antagonist.

With shooting set for later this summer, this is actually the first notable casting news dropped about the film, which will be helmed by Game of Thrones director, Alan Taylor.

With Tom Hiddleston's Loki still set to return for more inter-dimensional mischief, it may be the case that after the fiasco in The Avengers with the Chitauri, that Loki might not be so quick to team with this new bad guy on the block and may even take exception with his being there.

Thor 2 crosses the rainbow bridge to theaters on November 15, 2013.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation Delayed Until 2013

It seems that G.I. Joe: Retaliation will have to wait until 2013 to show that knowing is half the battle.

In a major upheaval to Paramount's summer movie plans, the studio has delayed the long-planned June 29 release of the franchise sequel for nearly an entire year: March 29, 2013 to be specific.

Perhaps, not feeling confident about its chances against heavy summer competition, the studio has opted to bring the film back for a 3D conversion, which will apparently be a new major selling point.

This is one of the most head-scratching moves made in the film industry in recent years. What does this mean for Joe fans?

This Superman Flies A Bit Crooked

This could be DC Comics' latest attempt to modernize their classic heroes with expedient, headline-grabbing changes that they'll probably abandon in about six months.

However, in this case, heat vision is rather difficult to achieve when you blink a lot.

Hulk Not Up For

Even a "puny God" would be able to run circles around Hulk when he hasn't had his daily java jolt with gamma-radiated creamer.

Batman Returns...To Vacation

Batman Returns...To Vacation

He may not be the hero Gotham "needs right now," but Batman, along with his fellow live-action counterparts, is finally taking the vacation he "deserves" before getting ready to take on Bane in July.

It's a good thing that 60's Batman remembered to bring his Bat-Skin-Cancer-Go-Awayer Spay, which he always keeps in his utility belt, along Little Louie Groovy albums on his conspicuously-large Batpod Nano.

Alien Queen Is Mom Enough

Alien Queen Is Mom Enough

Even Time Magazine's edition on planet LV-426 is using desperately-provocative imagery on their covers to help dwindling sales.

However, this "bitch" is too busy laying eggs designed for the destruction of the human race to be doing the talk show circuit.
