The Hobbit production videos are back and in more dimensions than ever!

The last production video back in July gave focus to Bilbo Baggins' newly-revealed dwarven companions. However, this latest video goes in depth on the technical process of filming the epic production in three dimensions.

Director, Peter Jackson gives us the grand tour as we see how a collection of 48 RED 3D cameras capture, among other things, the creepy, arachnid-filled forests of Mirkwood.

We also manage to get a few quick glimpses of some iconic moments from The Hobbit book, such as Bilbo's climb of the giant tree in Mirkwood to help the group find which way to march inside the sky-blocking silva, and the scene where the group are captured in spider-webs.

It's a truly fascinating look into this amazing production.

Oh, why must there be so many good timely biographies?

It's common to compliment a singer by saying "he can sing the phone book." However, in this clip, the legendary Rocket Man himself, Elton John takes that to a whole new level and shows that he doesn't need Bernie Taupin to make a hit song. -- Just an instruction manual to some guy's oven.

"And I think it's gonna be a long, long time till that potato is cooked inside..."

Unlike Grace Helbig's AOTS scrap book, most photo albums aren't filled with pictures of violence and gore, but then most photo albums kind of suck. That can't be said of Grace Helbig's personal AOTS photo stash. Those pictures are amazing, and more than a little disturbing, but totally worth a look, if you're not afraid of a little plasma.

In an odd development, the upcoming reboot of the Judge Dredd franchise, simply titled Dredd, has found its director, Pete Travis dismissed from his duties on the film. But wait, here's the catch: The movie has already finished shooting!

Thus far, the circumstances surrounding Travis' exit remain unknown. Nevertheless, Dredd now finds itself in a bizarre situation where the film's scriptwriter and producer, Alex Garland is left picking up the pieces in the post-production phase. Considering that there are still considerable artistic choices to be made in that job, it may come down to Garland filing a request to have a co-director credit on the film. (Although that has not happened, yet.)

The film, starring Karl Urban (seen above) as the badass futuristic Judge is said to take a much darker, more intense tone than the 1995 Judge Dredd film starring Sylvester Stallone.
