The Crow Remake Moves Forward With New Writer & Director

After it was looking ready to be scrapped, the proposed remake of cult classic, The Crow is officially back on.

With legal issues between Relativity Media and The Weinstein Company apparently squashed with their respective lawsuits now dropped, the film has been put on a fast track with the acquisition of scriptwriter, Jesse Wigutow and Spanish director, F. Javier Gutiérrez .

The two are far from known commodities, especially considering that the film was previously looking at Juan Carlos Fresnadillo of 28 Weeks Later, who at least had a wide release in the States attached to his name.
