Welcome to TV's only source for all the stuff you care about from the coolest viral videos to the hottest new gadgets, comics and movies. Attack of the Show gets it before it gets out.

The Dark Knight Rises certainly took center stage in movie news this week, thanks in part to revealing pics of Bane, this morning's reveal of Catwoman, and notably those leaked videos of the shoot. Apparently, Conan O'Brien has some of his own to add to the mix.

Yet, there's just something about the raw footage we've been seeing that feels kind of...meh. Sure, the magic of movie-making manages to transform a seemingly mundane shoot into something grandiose and epic. But, the rawness of this clip from Conan just might give a fanboy food poisoning.

That being said, I can't wait to pick up the toy version of the Bat-Prius.

Epic War...With Toys

Posted July 11, 2011 - By Joseph Baxter

And you wonder why a good number of adult men are still into toys? They're like a Michael Bay movie (with a plot) in your backyard.

Boy's toys are serious business -- deal with it.

Optimus Prime Or Darth Vader?

Optimus Prime Or Darth Vader?

It seems the folks at Hasbro may have some explaining to do. -- Oh, wait a minute, they already have the Star Wars license. So...it's a conspiracy, then?

G.I. Joe Sequel Gets Wonder Woman

Sequel, G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes just got a lot sexier. Adrianne Palicki, the former Friday Night Lights cast member and star of the preemptively-axed NBC revival of Wonder Woman has joined the film to play the Joe team's sexy covert-ops specialist, Lady Jaye.

Palicki will join the growing cast for the Jon Chu-directed sequel to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, among new cast members like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who will be playing the machine gun-toting, gumbo-cooking Roadblock, and rapper The RZA for a still-unspecified role. However, it is with D.J. Cotrona, who will be playing Flint, which Palicki will likely be having the most interaction, since their characters are known to be romantically-linked in just about every version of the G.I. Joe canon.

Happy Hot Dog Man

Posted June 15, 2011 - By Joseph Baxter

Apparently, some children can't drum up enough enthusiasm for the most standard and kid-friendly American fare. So, thankfully, we have this thing that resembles a medieval punishment device for adultery. (For the food, of course.)

With the addition of demonic condiment caps, those picky eaters can finally muster enough courage to wolf-down a hot dog when it's in the form of "a toy you can eat."

Warning: Contains bloody, animated violence.

Having toy gun shootout battles as a kid is probably a rite of passage as a red-blooded American male. However, to just about anyone else observing, you and your friends look like a bunch of freaky mental children escaped from local care who all somehow missed your meds.

...That is, until you add ridiculously-cool animation and life-like violence to bring the way you've been seeing it to life. Then, it become nothing short of epic!

The latest trailer for Green Lantern may very well be the best argument against the shrinking number of naysayers for this film. While it's (apparently) in 3D, the selling point is the presentation, which is absolutely epic.

By now, you've certainly seen more than your fair share of Green Lantern, with trailers airing on television and the merchandise and toys are starting to flow on the pegs of retail stores everywhere. (Movie Masters Hal Jordan action figure ftw.) However, I think it's pretty safe to say that we've never seen the storyline, which on paper is too complex and unworkable for a movie, explained so eloquently as by Geoffrey Rush's Tomar-Re, aided by the powerful (apparently 3D) visual effects.

From explaining the origin of the Emerald Energy of Willpower to the looming threat of Parallax, powered by the Yellow Power of Fear (which also foreshadows the future plans of Mark Strong's Sinestro,) this trailer pretty much cements the film as a must-see when it hits theaters on June 17.
