When you come home in the afternoon, AOTS is there to lift your spirits and make the horror of the work day disappear. You count on Kevin and Olivia being there five days a week to entertain you, but what about the weekends?

Yesterday, we introduced you to ROFLCon, the convention and lecture series dedicated to the web’s influence on pop culture. You got to see some of the net’s weird and wonderful personalities outside of that 480x360 box on your screen and it was awesome.

However, ROFLCon is like Disneyland, you can’t see everything in one day. So, we’re going back into the convention one more time and if you didn’t see your favorite web celeb yesterday, you will today.

Surely, you’ve had a slew of bright ideas in your lifetime that you’ve never done anything with. It’s a shame, but you’re not alone. It requires a motivated and (hopefully) brilliant mind to take something from concept to completion. Even after that, some inventions never see the light of day.

Thankfully, now there’s a convention for amateur inventors which allows them to showcase their masterworks to the world, Maker Faire.

On today’s show we’ll talk with the Senior Editor for Make Magazine, Phillip Torrone (who will cover the event) and maybe get an early glimpse at a world changing tech marvel.
