There are any number of colorful characters floating around on YouTube. Most of them are talentless hacks just looking for attention or young rapscallions who enjoy humiliating their friends in front of a web audience of millions, but some are a little more unique.

They have something about them that says, “Hey, I want your attention, but the few seconds of your time will be well worth it.” Today, we’re going to shine a spotlight on one of those and show you just who’s who on YouTube.

We’ve all had that girl in our lives, that one you obsess about even though she dumped you long ago and moved on. Some of us have never gotten over her, while the rest of us have done everything in our power to forget that she ever existed. If you fall into either of these categories you’ll want to see our preview of Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

It’s a film about a loser musician who gets dumped by his movie star girlfriend and replaced by a total hunk. He tries to forget about her by taking a trip to Hawaii, but finds that his ex and her new boy toy are also there on a romantic getaway.

The Loop: Hollywood Loves Anime

Hollywood is going anime crazy. There are a slew of live action anime adaptations in the works, such as the forthcoming Speed Racer, the rumored Ghost in the Shell and, unbelievably, Akira.

While fans of the source material may see this sudden interest in anime as long overdue, we all know that tinsel town operates in cycles or waves. Is this new trend in movie making just a passing fad? Furthermore, will these kinds of films resonate with mainstream audiences?
