Apparently, the deadlines and pressure of the gig cause as much mental strain as physical stress as almost any labor intensive occupation that you can imagine. Is this all a bunch of nonsense or is blogging as psychologically taxing as reported? To answer that question, we’ll welcome the writer of the New York Times article and the Author of Hooked, Matt Richtel.

One of the coolest things about getting a new computer is tricking it out. In fact, that’s the coolest part about getting your hands on any new tech gizmo or mechanical device.
The best tech is tech that you can enjoy on the go. We’re all about the raw power of stationary machines like high-end PCs and multicore Macs, but we can’t always afford to be tied down and we’re guessing, neither can you. Right?
In days gone by, having a stressful job meant that you spent twelve hours a day down at the old mill or the factory. Now, if the findings of one New York Times journalist are correct, blogging has become one of the most stress inducing professions in America.
