It’s Effin’ Science
Posted by Eugene Morton - Wednesday, April 02, 2008 4:45 PM
Remember in high school when you thought that science was lame, you hated your biology teacher and you couldn’t care less about covalent bonds? Well, that’s because no one ever gave you the right motivation. You were always doing the boring stuff like mixing Chloric acid with Dihydrogen Monoxide.
Who cares about that? Wouldn’t you have rather done an experiment that tested the elasticity of condoms? Sure, you would have, but there was no way the board of education was going to approve that.
Lucky for you, we’re much more open-minded about the learning process. Get your lab coat and goggles ready, because on today’s show we’ll perform some of the most outrageous and exciting experiments ever (the kind you never got the chance to do in chemistry class) and show you that mixing chemicals isn’t boring, because it’s effin’ science!
Today’s experiment is the pickle electrocution.

'Leatherheads' First Look
Posted by Eugene Morton - Wednesday, April 02, 2008 2:32 PM
Leatherheads is the George Clooney directed comedy, set just after World War I, about a gridiron star who is dead set on making the fledgling sport of football America’s next pastime and transforming his team into sports heroes.
He enlists the aid of a bonafide (or so it’s believed) war hero to make his dream a reality, but his dreams may go unfulfilled if an attractive, but meddlesome reporter has her way.
It’s loaded with laughs, laced with romance and a sure to be a good time. Look for a preview of the film in today’s show.

Chris Hardwick knows how to host a show, that much is evident, but were you aware that he also knows how to rock? Oh yeah, like Led Zeppelin and Metallica. Of course, he has more of a country/ bluegrass type of rock style, but it’s still awesome!
When he and his partner, Mike Phirman come together as Hard ‘N Phirm, they make heads asplode with their musical talent. You’ll get a taste of the asploding, when Hard ‘N Phirm perform live on today’s show!
Also, take a look at these behind the scenes photos.
