Fresh Ink With Blair ButlerPosted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, April 01, 2008 11:25 AM
They are a place to seriously discuss the pitfalls and triumphs of the dedicated super heroes we love and malevolent villains we loathe. For the faithful, they have a sacred quality to them and nothing ruins that feeling of sanctity more than returning home from the local shop for some quality reading time only to discover that you’ve purchased, polybagged and boarded the print and paper equivalent of a Uwe Boll film. Don’t let that happen. Hear what comic expert Blair Butler has to say about this week’s slew of releases and avoid breaking into another fit of nerd rage. Today, Blair will review Batman: The Killing Joke, All Star Superman #10 and Death Note.

There are many thousands, maybe millions of places online to get media for your viewing pleasure. However, you can’t always be stationed at a desktop and taking your laptop with you everywhere can be a pain in the rear.
We thought that we were the only ones capable of creating side splitting and provocative content for TV lovers, pop culture junkies and web surfers around the world, but we were wrong.
Do you remember how cool it was to ride those magic motion machines as a kid? You’d see them at amusement parks and carnivals, sometimes even movie theaters and you couldn’t wait to drop five bucks on two minutes worth of simulated driving, flying or whatever.
For most of us, comic book shops aren’t merely a place for buying illustrated books about costumed crusaders, they’re a haven, a safe place where we can talk about the titans which occupy worlds that only exist on the printed page and in our collective imagination.
Greetings, good sirs and madams! Are you ready to be bombarded with top of the line, “won’t find it anywhere else on television,” entertainment?
