Olivia's Rack

Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, March 25, 2008 4:47 PM

If it’s in print and important, Olivia’s going to talk about it. Sure, some people think magazines about international politics or economic trends are important, but they’re dead wrong!

How can any of that stuff possibly hope to compare to rags about fashion, entertainment, technology and hot chicks? You show me an issue of Business Week that gets more attention than the latest issue of Playboy, then we’ll talk.

Attack This: Mo’ Money, Mo’ Stuff

Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, March 25, 2008 4:35 PM

Puff Daddy says, “Mo’ money, mo’ problems.” However, we’re not so sure about that.

Maybe it’s true, but we’ve taken a look at today’s gadgets (stuff only those with mo’ money can afford) and we think that they would solve most of our problems in life (major problems like not being able to watch DVDs in the hotub- thank you, Multimedia Hot Tub).

Perhaps more money would create more problems, but it would also give you the means to solve those problems rather easily. So, despite his protestations to the contrary, we’ve deduced that being rich ain’t all bad.

BlogWatch: Comedy Blogs

Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, March 25, 2008 4:30 PM

In all sincerity, and not to sound arrogant, we think that AOTS is one of the funniest shows on TV. However, we recognize that we don’t hold a monopoly on comedy (but only because the US Supreme Court says we can’t legally). There are other places to get laughs, namely today’s comedy blogs. Now, Attack should remain your primary source of laughter, but you can treat today’s blogs as a comedy supplement.

Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, March 25, 2008 11:07 AM

Chris Gore, the mastermind behind Film Threat and co-author of The Complete DVD Book is back again and he’s brought a slew of new DVD releases with him.

He’ll tell you which ones deserve a prominent spot on your shelf, which one’s are fun for a weekend and which ones need to be lit on fire and set adrift at sea, like Weekend at Bernie's 7: The Awakening (which is not a real movie, so you don’t need to look it up on imdb).

Today, Chris will review The Mist, Frisky Dingo and Steep.
