Your Childhood SuckedPosted by Eugene Morton - Monday, March 24, 2008 4:42 PM
Yeah, that’s how you remember it, but today, AOTS is going to convince you that your fond memories from adolescence are a little fuzzy and show you how miserable you were as a pre-teen. We will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that despite how much carefree fun you think you had, you were wrong. Your childhood sucked. Today, we’ll soil your memories of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

WonderKevin: Behind the ScenesPosted by Eugene Morton - Monday, March 24, 2008 4:18 PM
Last week, we pushed the limits of television in a little sketch called “WonderKevin” wherein Kevin and Chris Hardwick dressed up as Wonder Woman and Slave Leia. It was as funny as it was disturbing. If you found yourself tickled by the cross dressing antics of two of TV’s most prominent leading men or were just confused, check out the behind the scenes video and be further entertained, or at least get some answers.

Kevin Unboxes "BLOW" Energy Drink MixPosted by Brian Leahy - Monday, March 24, 2008 2:56 PM
We love energy products because they make us feel tingly and special. We got a promotional kit for a new one today and we just had to share the love. The new product is BLOW, a white powder that gets mixed in with 16oz of water and tastes like pixie sticks. It's guaranteed to get your heart pumping all while looking like illegal drugs. It definitely provided a boost in energy and led to a lot of jokes about cocaine. Kevin Pereira loves it! He doesn't do drugs, though. He's a winner.

The Loop: FCC Spectrum Auction FalloutPosted by Eugene Morton - Monday, March 24, 2008 12:30 PM
The FCC auction for the 700MHz spectrum has concluded and, not surprisingly, AT&T and Verizon have managed to come away with the largest (but not only) chunk. It would seem that AT&T has once again come out on top in the struggle for mobile dominance. However, some are arguing that by not placing winning bids, competitors such as Google have actually gone a long way toward winning the cellular wars (it’s likely that, alongside Microsoft, the company will use white space for wireless transmissions). So, who's the real winner in the FCC's wireless spectrum auction? To answer that question, we’ll welcome Editor for Silicon Alley Insider, Dan Frommer.

These days you don’t just want to be able to enjoy your media, you want to be able to enjoy it on all of the fifty devices you own. Keeping your media devices, portable or otherwise, networked can be quite a pain with some ill-designed tech, but things don’t have to be so complicated.
Think back to long, long ago, well before you had the crushing responsibility of work and had to pay taxes. Recall even that period before you discovered the beauties of the opposite sex. Reflect upon to your formative years. Great time, wasn’t it?
There are any number of colorful characters floating around on YouTube. Most of them are talentless hacks just looking for attention or young rapscallions who enjoy humiliating their friends in front of a web audience of millions, but some are a little more unique.
NPR is known for being educational, informative and maybe just a tad bit dry, but AOTS’s own Kevin Pereira is going to change all of that when he drops by NPR’s Marketplace today to talk tech. If you love new gadgets, AOTS or just have an unhealthy obsession with Kevin, tune in. It ought to be the most exciting thing you’ve heard on NPR in a while.
Mondays aren’t fun. Well, they aren’t fun till AOTS comes on, then they’re great. On today’s show we’ll review the latest tech toys in Gadget Pr0n, remind you why Your Childhood Sucked and show you Who’s Who on YouTube. We’re the only thing that makes Mondays worthwhile.
