Alright, put that Hi8 camcorder away, stop listening to those cassette tapes and for the love of Blu-ray, hide that Betamax player!

There’s no reason to hang on to technology from the 80’s (or the 90’s for that matter). We understand, years ago, before AOTS, there was no way you could know that laser discs weren’t going to make a comeback.

Now, there are people here to help you sort that kind of stuff out. Please, accept their help. You don’t want your friends and family to perform a gadget intervention, do you?

Today, they'll review the Olympus 1030 SW Camera.

Also, are you a friend to the Earth? Then check out GCycle... it's G4's new initiative to try and get you to be a better person and recycle tech stuff!

Attack This: Futuristic Vehicles

We’re fans of the Sci-Fi genre. If a futuristic action flick hits theaters, we’re there on opening day. The (yet to be realized) technology in those films is terrific, especially the vehicles.

Nothing screams “this is the future” to us like a hover train or jet powered motorcycle. Take a look at today’s vehicles (which may go from concept to in-production very soon) and let the realization hit you, the future is here!

For years, the entertainment industry has been trying to find a viable way to get its content on the web and somehow turn a profit. It hasn’t been easy, not with BitTorrent and other such peer to peer file sharing apps.

However, there may finally be a solution, namely the free video on demand service, Hulu which offers access to everything from The Simpsons to The Big Lebowski. Will Hulu keep entertainment starved web surfers and studio executives happy?

To answer that question, we’ll welcome the C.E.O. of Hulu, Jason Kilar.

SXSW Interactive

There’s only one event in the world where nerds and rock stars casually commingle, SXSW. The reason why isn’t a mystery, the avant-garde minds behind the festival recognize that art isn’t just hung in museums or recorded in a studio, it’s also all over that intangible realm known as the internet.

At SXSW Interactive, the people who craft that art finally get the due they so richly deserve and if you’ve surfed the web for five minutes, you know that despite the overabundance of crap, there truly is a wealth of wonderful, inspiring, unusual and interactive brilliance on display. Do yourself a favor and take in the art show on today’s AOTS.

If you’re anything like us, you’re absolutely sick of all the girly dancing movies that have been flooding the cinemas as of late, crap like How She Move. It’s the antithesis of your average, Bring it On type flick.
