Gadget Pr0nPosted by Eugene Morton - Thursday, February 21, 2008 4:49 PM
There’s no reason to hang on to technology from the 80’s (or the 90’s for that matter). We understand, years ago, before AOTS, there was no way you could know that laser discs weren’t going to make a comeback. Now, there are people here to help you sort that kind of stuff out. Please, accept their help. You don’t want your friends and family to perform a gadget intervention, do you? Today, they'll review the Samsung HT-BD2 Blu-Ray Home Theater. Also, are you a friend to the Earth? Then check out GCycle... it's G4's new initiative to try and get you to be a better person and recycle tech stuff!

Nope, that kind of stuff only works in movies, and that’s what makes Be Kind, Rewind so appealing. It’s the story of two guys who have to go through the same ordeal, but they somehow pull if off and come out of the whole thing smelling like roses. Now, that’s the plot of an instant cinema classic! Watch our preview of this heartwarming film and forget your jaded cynicism for a second.

What’s Up With Japan?Posted by Eugene Morton - Thursday, February 21, 2008 10:55 AM
Americans invented the atomic bomb and the internet, we’re no strangers to cutting edge tech, but we’d never use it to make a vending machine that sells toy robots that transform into vending machines. The Japanese would (and probably have). Seriously, What’s Up with Japan? We’ll find out on today’s show.

Alright, put that Hi8 camcorder away, stop listening to those cassette tapes and for the love of Blu-ray, hide that Betamax player!
Hey, Mr. Deep Pockets, in the mood for some high-priced merchandise to show off to your friends and neighbors? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Actually, it’s adjacent to the right places.
If you worked at a local video store, smack dab in the middle of nowhere America, and accidentally erased all of the tapes (yes, VHS tapes) you’d be fired and probably beaten to death by the town’s entertainment starved populace. The only thing you could do would be to re-enact all of the films (only, starring you and your buddy) and hope none of your customers noticed. That would work, right?
You think you know about underground cinema? Let’s see how confident you are when Chris Gore reaches deep into his vault and pulls out little known movies from the Far East.
Japan has the most marvelous technology on the planet and we say that, not just because they’ve cornered the market on consumer electronics, but because they use their advanced technology to make the wackiest crap you’ll ever see.
Greetings to you, the smartest, most good looking television audience in America! How ya’ doin’? Ready to have your minds blown? Excellent.
