'10 Items or Less'

The primetime sitcom formula has gotten a little stale. However, one sitcom, 10 Items or Less, has managed to liven things up by mixing pre-written dialogue with improvisational comedy.
It’s a combination that’s as fresh as the produce at your local grocery store. Later today, Zach is going to interview the star of the show, John Lehr, so be there if you’re in the market for some good laughs!

The Anonymous Protest

By now, you should be well aware of the war between the group, Anonymous and the Church of Scientology. It’s been all over the news, we covered it in The Loop last week and Anonymous has made its presence known on the popular video site, YouTube.
Over the weekend, the group also staged a mass, world wide protest at several Scientology centers. AOTS was on hand to observe one of the protests, which occurred in Los Angeles. We impartially documented the movement, nothing more. If you care at all about the struggle between the two groups, tune in.

The Loop: Google Android

There have been rumors about the Google phone forever. Most of them have suggested that the mobile device would be a smartphone, developed by Google to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone. Eventually, the rumors proved to be false, but as it turns out, they did contain a nugget of truth.
Though Google announced it wouldn’t be releasing a smartphone, it admitted that it was indeed working on an open source mobile platform, Google Android (along with the 34 other companies comprising the Open Handset Alliance). Today, in Barcelona, Spain, the first phone operating with Google Android was unveiled, but will Android become the new mobile standard? Is Android the future for mobile phones?
