This stuff’s not going to buy itself.
We don’t know about you, but whenever we get a new gadget, we shiver with excitement. Of course, that excitement quickly fades when we realize that our shiny toy has all sorts of restrictions and limitations we didn’t sign up for.
Outsiders believe that all of the action in Aspen happens on the slopes, but it’s not true. The real action happens when the snowboarders and snow bunnies get together for a few cocktails after dark and let’s say, misplace their inhibitions for a while.
In Tuesday’s edition of The Loop we discussed the recent troubles at Yahoo! and the corporation’s struggle with Google for internet dominance. Now, a third contender has entered the fray and is trying, like Yahoo!, to topple the mighty Google.
Welcome to Friday! On today’s show we’ll discuss Microsoft’s potential acquisition of Yahoo!, spend one more day showing the noobs how it’s done at the Winter X-Games and we’ll enjoy the funniest videos making their way Around the Net. Then, it’s off to bed for a two day hibernation.
