What’s Up With Japan?Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, January 29, 2008 2:30 PM
Americans invented the atomic bomb and the internet, we’re no strangers to cutting edge tech, but we’d never use it to make a vending machine that sells toy robots that transform into vending machines. The Japanese would (and probably have). Seriously, What’s Up with Japan? We’ll find out on today’s show.

The Loop: No Reason To Yell Yahoo!Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, January 29, 2008 11:45 AM
That doesn’t mean the Yahoo! story has reached its final chapter, but the company might not see a storybook ending. Is Yahoo! on the road to a new beginning or a slow death of irrelevancy? To answer that question, we’ll welcome the Executive Editor for PC Magazine, Jeremy Kaplan and Dan Ackerman, Senior Editor for Cnet.

Gadget Pr0nPosted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, January 29, 2008 11:04 AM
Sorry to say it, but your parents are techtarded (or technologically handicapped for the politically correct) and you will be one day too unless you keep watching Gadget Pr0n. You don't want to end up like grandma, do you? No, you don't want to get so out of touch with technology that you start to believe that PDAs are powered by ghosts. On today's Gadget Pr0n we'll review the Belkin n52te SpeedPad. Also, are you a friend to the Earth? Then check out GCycle... it's G4's new initiative to try and get you to be a better person and recycle tech stuff!

Japan has the most marvelous technology on the planet and we say that, not just because they’ve cornered the market on consumer electronics, but because they use their advanced technology to make the wackiest crap you’ll ever see.
Yahoo! may be in trouble. Though it has all of the name recognition in the world and was once the destination for the best stuff that the web had to offer, the search engine is hardly as popular today as Google and is being outclassed when it comes to features like free web mail. Furthermore, the company is likely to lay off a great number of its employees this year.
You know how you have to sit down with your mom for like the hundredth time to teach her how to check her cell phone messages or how bewildered your dad gets when you tell him that he has to download the latest version of Java?
Greetings! Welcome to another day that’s only exciting and interesting because there is a new episode of AOTS to look forward to (also X-Play and Ninja Warrior and all of G4’s fine programming).
