The Loop: The Youth VotePosted by Eugene Morton - Monday, January 28, 2008 12:19 PM
It’s widely accepted that young people don’t care about politics. However, that may be changing. You saw the signs during the last election with movements such as Vote or Die! and you’re seeing it currently in films like 18 in ’08. Young people are starting to take notice and get involved politically in a way that is unique to this period in history, but why now and will this new found political fervor shape the upcoming Presidential election? Finger MoustachesPosted by Eugene Morton - Monday, January 28, 2008 11:26 AM
Two members of the AOTS staff are going to permanently scar themselves for your amusement. No one’s done a stunt this life changing since Regis and Kelly got finger moustache tattoos in ’06 (and they don’t even show that episode in reruns anymore). Tune in, kids and make our staff’s disfigurement worthwhile.

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters is the greatest (videogame based) movie of all time. We know that game-based movies generally suck, but this one isn’t just slightly better than the rest of them, it’s actually really good. That’s why we were so jazzed about the DVD release party, held at the legendary Westwood Arcade in Los Angeles.
You’re probably wondering what all of this finger moustache business is about on today’s show. Quite simply, world famous tattoo artist, Kat Von D of the show,
Admit it; you like to goof off at work. There’s no shame in that, everyone does. However, you can only surf the internet aimlessly for so long. Eventually, you have to turn to everyone’s entertainment safety, cell phone games, but even those get boring after a while.
This installment of AOTS is going to be so good, it’s ridiculous. On today’s show we’ll celebrate the DVD release of the greatest movie ever made (about videogames), The King of Kong, give you the means to tame the internet in WebTools and we’ll give some of our staff mustache tattoos live on the air. See, ridiculously good!
