Gadget Pr0n is a safe place for the technofile inside of all of us to grow and learn about new technology, technology that understands you, unlike your girlfriend and over-bearing mother. 

Our resident tech experts will tee off about all the gadgets that separate us from cavemen, but magically bring us all closer together... over the phone or the internet, not in person or anything.

Tonight they’ll talk about the Samsung P2 MP3 Player.

The Loop: The New Web Police

If you’re a web pirate you’re already at odds with the Federal Government, the RIAA and the MPAA, now you have one more big entity gunning for you, AT&T. The phone and internet service provider is right now developing technology that will identify web surfers who download TV shows and movies illegally.

Though one can certainly understand why they would do it (all that piracy does take quite a bite out of bandwidth) some would argue it’s not really their place. Should AT&T police the internet?

To discuss this turn of events, we’ll welcome the Executive Director of Free Press, which coordinates Save the Internet, Josh Silver and Managing Editor for Silicon Alley Insider, Peter Kafka.

DVDuesday With Chris Gore

Chris Gore, expert movie reviewer, co-author of The Complete DVD Book and the guy behind Film Threat is a man who has made DVDs his business and business is good… unless he recommends a DVD as a “rental,” then business is just okay, we guess. Then again, he could recommend a DVD as a “pass” and then business would be bad.

Wait, we’re getting off track here. The point is, new DVDs are coming out and nobody wants to waste their time or money on garbage movies that will eventually end up in the actual garbage. Chris is here to help you avoid that in DVDuesday.

Today's reviews will include Eagle Vs. Shark, The Nines and King of Kongs: A Fistful of Quarters.
