Gadget Pr0n

Posted by Eugene Morton - Thursday, January 17, 2008 4:57 PM

Every now and again we like to slow things down, dim the lights, lie down by the fireplace (perhaps put on some Barry White) and play with our gadgets. That’s not code for anything; we mean it in a literal sense, so put the whipped cream and strawberries back in the fridge.

After you’ve done that, make sure to grab your remote and tune in for an all new Gadget Pr0n. Our own tech experts are going to review all of the sexy tech products that drive the ladies (and tech buffs) wild.

Today, they'll review the Jensen Rock-n-Road GPS Navigator.

Also, are you a friend to the Earth? Then check out GCycle... it's G4's new initiative to try and get you to be a better person and recycle tech stuff!

The Loop: The 'Cloverfield' Hype

Posted by Eugene Morton - Thursday, January 17, 2008 11:44 AM

It seems a foregone conclusion that Cloverfield is going to be a smashing success. People simply cannot stop talking about the film and they know almost nothing about it. Perhaps that’s the lure.

The advertising campaign and trailers both show striking imagery and devastation which remind some of the September 11th attacks, but little else. Is Cloverfield playing on our collective paranoia to draw an audience?

To weigh in on the issue, we’ll welcome Devin Faraci and Editor for IESB, Robert Sanchez.

Miracle Berries Taste Test

Posted by Eugene Morton - Thursday, January 17, 2008 9:42 AM

Besides tuning in for tech, games and girls, we know that our fans watch our show because they love the culinary arts and quite frankly, we’ve been ignoring your needs in that department. Sorry. To make up for it, today we’ll sample magical berries from the Gum Drop Forest.

Well, they’re not magical or from the Gum Drop Forest, but they might as well be. They’re called Miracle Berries and they prevent your tongue from tasting anything sour, which means that even sour foods, like lemons, become sweet to the taste, allegedly.

We say allegedly, because we don’t know if they actually work, but we’ll find out. Hilarity has a high chance of ensuing, so be there!

Ninja Strike?

Posted by Eugene Morton - Thursday, January 17, 2008 9:40 AM

Much like the Ninja clans of old, today’s episode is shrouded in secrecy and unfortunately, we can’t say much about it right now. What we can say is this, you fans of Ninja Warrior will be very happy by show’s end. What does that mean? You’ll just have to watch and wait to find out. Your patience will be rewarded.

Conversely, if you don’t like Ninja Warrior a horde of ninjas will break into your house and destroy your stuff, though not at our behest, just according to their own will. They don’t take kindly to people who don’t like Ninja Warrior.
