Attack This: Sci-Fi Inspired Breakthroughs

Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, January 15, 2008 4:48 PM

You’ve got to hand it to Hollywood. They create fantastic inventions, people and even entire worlds for the silver screen, some of which the Average Joe couldn’t think of if you gave him a million years. What’s better is that sometimes the amazing inventions that originally exist only in the world of fantasy become real world items.

Today’s inventions are perfect examples of that. There’s no way a bunch of egghead scientists would have come up with this stuff on their own. They saw movies when they were kids that inspired them to create the wondrous. Hooray for Hollywood!

Today On AOTS!

Posted by Eugene Morton - Tuesday, January 15, 2008 9:39 AM

As much as we’d like to make the claim that things are back to normal today, Macworld is happening right now and we can’t claim normalcy in the middle of a whirlwind. You’d better believe we’re going to be paying extra close attention to the goings on in San Franciso, but that’s not all.

On today’s show we’ll review the latest DVD releases in DVDuesday, surf the web for the coolest blogs in BlogWatch and continue our coverage of Zach’s adventures in Hong Kong.
