The long-discussed 300 prequel, which was to be titled Xerxes, is not only still alive, but it's got a new title and its potential directors narrowed-down.
While the film's purpose of telling the origin story of 300's (historically-based, albeit loosely) Persian overlord, Xerxes remains, the title of the film will now be called 300: Battle of Artemisia.
Additionally, it seems that the list of potential directors have been narrowed-down to two. Noam Murro and Jaume Collet-Serra.
What can we expect from this bizarre prequel that, for a time, appeared to be dead in the water.
