High Bar Base Jump Epic Fail

Posted October 15, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

Norwegian base jumper, Richard Henriksen took to this high cliff in his home country to integrate the grace of high bar gymnastics with ball-to-the-walls parachuted leaps off high peaks.

Unfortunately he may have opted to save to a couple of bucks buying a high bar made in China, because after a few swings above this majestic drop, the device would force Henriksen to make a premature dismount...down the cliff.

Thankfully, his parachute deployed and he lived to tell the tale. The high bar, however, got its just deserts, plunging down to a rock-solid abyss.

Check it out from another angle below.

High Bar Backflip Fail

Posted September 27, 2012 - By Joseph Baxter

I'm thinking that he wanted to cap-off this impressive high bar flip by going over the bar and catching it with only his chin before doing a final flip for the dismount, landing on his index finger.

Unfortunately, he under-shot it a bit and ended up catching the back of his head in a concussion-friendly fail of epic proportions.

Accidental Inner Tube Hijacking

What for a moment appeared to be the beginning of an epic double tubing wipeout, would become a showcase of on-the-fly self-preservation.

Since the guy on the red one would no longer be needing his tube (and was never seen again...ever,) his buddy did some quick thinking and managed to turn misfortune to his advantage.

Clearly the line between "epic fail" and "epic win" is thinner than we think.

Never underestimate the power of the Force. And by "Force," we mean water.

Beautiful Korean pop star, Jessica Jung seemed to be on the verge of wowing this entire stadium with her auspicious pitching form...that was, until the ball left her hand.

Unfortunately, her cunning attempt to impress everyone with the "spike the ball on the ground and watch it bounce into the strike zone" strategy didn't quite work out.

Scooter Wipeout Ends In Epic Win

This kid tuned a failed scooter stunt away from a scenario of months in a neckbrace sipping juiceboxes into a respectable entry for the WIN HALL OF FAME.

Scooter Stunt Epic Fail

Who knew that a simple wheelie attempt would result in a bruised body, massive laundry job, and a tetanus shot?

His friends would have helped him up but then he would learn nothing.

Drifting Ends In Fail

In Russia, The Fast and the Furious films have inspired many comrades to take their second-hand compacts to their very limits. Sometimes, (okay, most of the time,) it ends in the vehicle facing the wrong vertical direction.

You know what they say, "if at first you don't epic fail, try, try again."

They brought in their German Shepherd for a routine checkup; it left as a Polish Kielbasa.

Breakdancing Fail

This just reinforces the lesson that you should never stand in between a man and his spin-a-rooney or risk getting swept by an epic capoeira kick that will send you flat on your face.
