The Colonel Will Give You The Munchies

With a little semi-subliminal advertising by way of font color, the Colonel is promising a certain segment of the customer base that he'll be providing the perfect aperitif for his irresistible world famous fried chicken.

Some may scoff at the idea of it being a gateway drug, but in this case, the writing is literally on the wall.

If we are to believe the propaganda, then letting this Wookiee win will be a gateway leading us to servicing businessmen at seedy airport men's rooms for meth money.

This piece of paraphernalia will have you sooner kissing a Wookiee and, much like a puddle of water in Jabba's dungeon, might help treat temporary blindness and glaucoma. (Or so they say.)

Seems Like A Legit Science Book

This alternate universe version of R. Bruce Hoadley's book, Identifying Wood starts off as a reasonable study of THC's effect on receptors of the brain connected with mood, using "empirical methods."

However, by chapter two, it quickly devolves to a vague conspiracy study about the alleged connection of the JFK assasination to the rise of diet soda.

But This Snail Has Glaucoma!

You'd think there would be a special "4/20 Day" episode of Shark Tank to accommodate the "under the influence" demographic of inventors who just want to see gastropods get the munchies.

Beavis and Butt-Head are back!

Lest anyone think that 90's nostalgia had taken a backseat in the world of retro, the triumphant return of MTV's iconic bumbling duo just became real with the unveiling at Comic-Con of a five-minute clip of the newly-revived show.

As creator, Mike Judge explained: "I felt like TV was getting too smart."

The Hunger Games Unveils Fiery Animated Poster

The Hunger Games, the upcoming film based on the post-apocalyptic Suzanne Collins novel has released a new mesmerizing motion poster exclusive to Yahoo.

Set in a future where children are whisked away from their homes by an oppressive, monolithic Government and forced to compete in a televised contest in which they fight to the death, the flaming crest seems to set a tone of darkness and consumption. It carries themes reminiscent of ancient tales of human sacrifice, with a commentary on the decline of a culture fixated on news/reality television voyeurism. It's like The Running Man, but with kids! Yay!

Set for release on March 23, 2012, the film stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson.

Check out the cool motion poster below.
