Once again, it's time to start casting your thoughts toward gifts for the gamer in your life. What should you pick up to satisfy their holiday cravings, or what do you demand from others who will be buying gifts for you? Well, here at G4tv.com, we'll walk you through all of the games, tech, and accessories you might want this holiday season. We call it the Holiday Buyers Guide, and you'll call it indispensible.
But, that's not all. As always, Adam Sessler, Morgan Webb, and the staff at X-Play have their own opinions on what to get for your Xbox, PS3, Wii, handheld, PC, tech, and peripheral needs, and you can watch those videos through the course of the Guide. It's double awesome!

For those of you complaining about lack of PC games you should know PC games are alive and well. Most PC only games these days are MMO and RTS games hence the MMO/ RTS buyers guide. This is because MMOs and RTS games are harder to multiplatform than most other types of games. Also many developers have been avoiding making PC games because the games they make get pirated.

It does seem as though PC games are a dying breed; I've found some on eBay. Of course getting the best price is the biggie. But at least you can find pretty much anything you re looking for.

The PS3 has a more robust amount of genre games than 360. With almost all 360 exclusives there are just first-person shooters, and others are third-person shooters.
With the PS3 there are many different games from Heavy Rain, InFamous, to Modnation Racers.
With the PS3 there are Halo, Gears, and Alan Wake. All shooting elements (Alan Wake thou is something new and great).

I don't see why people dont just buy a PS3 it's the same price as the Xbox and it has free online. Their exclusive games may not be as good but the graphics and gameplay are so much better. I have both the Xbox and PS3 and I like the PS3 so much better. The only things the Xbox has on it is Halo and Gears of War, but Halo is begining to suck and Gears is on its last game.
