UC2 for game of the year? wow... not really.

I would've never guessed that Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story would take Best RPG of the Year. Perhaps I should give it a try.

I guess i'm happy with those results, not perfect but better than some years in recent history to be honest.

i resent UC2 somewhat. I know the game is incredible, but my personal favourite game this year is AC2, and UC2 has taken all the awards the game might have received. also i believe the AC2 score was more impressive than flower's. Loads of these games (Batman, anyone?) would have received goty any other year, i suppose we should just be grateful that as gamers we have had an awesome year. well done ps3 guys, you've almost convince me to make the double dip :D (please note i'm not *replacing my xbox* i'm just getting a ps3 for the nice games there, too.

With all respect. Bowser over Dragon Age? You guys aren't idiots. You know your demographic. Were you trying to start a flame war? Still your show was mostly true to the real gamers. Although I would argue that you guys are prolly all spending more time farming for new loot in Borderlands than re-playing those awesome train rides in Uncharted. It would have been nice to throw out one suprise that your audience would enjoy like Borderlands for GOTY. Oh and I was totally pullin for Claptrap for new character.
Anyway can't wait for Gphoria. Then it's our turn!

I'm about to deploy very soon and I have been drinking this Crown an Coke. And since I have the chance to holla at you guys at G4 I just wanna say that G4 is absolutely without a freakin doubt the best network on television!!! I am gonna miss you guys so much for the next year. They do play AOTS from time to time on the Armed Forces Network (AFN) but I won't be able to check you guys out on the regular. Thank God you have a website. Keep it up.

Seriously I give full props to the video game awards that you guys at X-Play held. I watched the other VGA show on that other network and after 10 mins into the show I was able to tell that they were completely biased. I was so pissed at some of the choices they picked. Not to mention some of the award categories were stupid as hell! "Best Male Voice in a videogame"? How stupid a topic was that?! I couldn't even watch the whole thing. You guys kept it real, and your choice for videogame awards were the choices of TRUE GAMERS!!! Never sell out!!!

I agree with the x-play crew, especially on giving game of the year to uncharted 2. if you havn't played this game, you HAVE to play this game. The only thing i diagree about it, is that i think the gun play in borderlands should have gotten best new game innovation, but i see where there coming from with demon souls, that was pretty cool too.

These were all so predictable. I was hoping for a come in from behind win for Arkham Asylum or L4D2.

Mario AND Dragon Age are child's play compared to Demons Souls. Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed all three games, but when I think of the most polished, fresh and best RPG.. I think Demon's Souls. Forza kinda won by default thanks to GT5 being delayed into next year.. and well, Uncharted 2 was the right choice for game of the year. MW2 might of had a more legitimate shot at GOTY if the campaign lasted longer than a commercial break and the MP was not so laughably glitched and unbalanced.
