Answers to Your Questions
Linux modemShane in Blue River, Kent., switched to Linux. He can't get the built-in modem to work.
Many built-in modems are Winmodems. These modems are bare-bones devices that do most of the work in software. You need to get the software for Linux that will let you use your modem.
Leo recommends visiting Linmodems.org. Use the site to figure out what chipset your modem is using. Once you've done that, download the appropriate driver from the site.
Mac OS Xbox
Tanisha in Killeen, Texas, wants to run Mac OS X on an Xbox.
Can't be done. Mac OS X runs only on Apple hardware. Wonder why you never see Mac OS X on a PC? That's why. It's the same reason why you can't run it on an Xbox.
