Doug in Orlando, Fla., is thinking of upgrading the hard drive in his TiVo. Any drive recommendations?

Joshua says that the Maxtor QuickView drives are optimized for audio and video data transfer. The QuickView drives might be ideal for your upgrade.

Patrick says you can use just about any drive, but you may want to stick with 5,400 rpm drives. The TiVo case is compact, and 5,400 rpm drives tend to be cooler than faster drives.
