It's called SpamBayes. You can download a copy of SpamBayes for Windows and SpamBayes for other OSes from SourceForge.
How it works
SpamBayes uses Bayesian statistical-analysis techniques to learn from its mistakes. You'll train it when you first install it by showing it both good and bad messages.
Going forward, when SpamBayes misses a spam message or accidentally categorizes a good message as spam, you can improve its accuracy by correcting it. The more you use SpamBayes, the better it gets.
SpamBayes is open-source and written in Python. You can download it and install it for free. There's also a commercial version for Windows called InBoxer, which adds some features and simplifies installation. It costs $27.95.
